Tara Yoga Center is a unique classroom for those who wish to change their life to better quality , bodily, intellectualy or spiritually.
Yoga comes from India and Tara Yoga Center is the only Slovenian center which is managed by a true Indian swami and yoga acharya with 60 years of her personal yogic practice. Swami Vishwashakti is the student of the spiritual masters Swami Satyananda Saraswati and Swami Niranjanananda Saraswati.
Tara Yoga Center was founded in 1991 by Swami Omkarmurti Saraswati and Swami Vishwashakti Saraswati when in Slovenia there was no yogic center yet. It became a strong center of Satyananda yoga in this part of Europe. It teaches integral yoga of Satyananda yoga system which means that it contains all different branches of yoga.
Tara Yoga Center is affiliated to the International Yoga Fellowship Movement, inspired by teachings of Swami Satyananda Saraswati, founder of Bihar School of Yoga and Swami Niranjanananda Saraswati, founder of the first Yoga University recognized by Indian government. Tara Yoga Center is the official representative of Satyananda yoga in Slovenia.
Here is taught the most authentic, complete and traditional yoga, the nearest to the Indian original, with no improvisations and adaptations. It is yoga which is not focused only on physical practices but on full balance of body, mind, energy and soul. It is one place which gathers topmost holistic knowledge on yoga and ayurveda, which can help very much to disciples with health problems. Teachings of Tara Yoga Center are based on integral yoga of Satyananda system of yoga.
Tara Yoga Center offers courses for beginners, intermediate and advanced students in the form of weekly classes and weekend seminars. It regularly organizes yoga teacher traininig courses and special courses for ayurveda and marma therapy.
Till now Tara Yoga Center published in Slovenian language 7 books, written by Swami Satyananda Saraswati. They were translated by Swami Omkarmurti Saraswati. Tara Yoga Center also publishes CDs of yoga nidra, relaxation and meditation practices.
