In karma sannyasa, one’s life as a householder in society is used for a higher purpose. The whole of life is a sadhana in itself, where one makes the endeavour to improve and perfect one’s life. To find fulfilment, one’s worldly life and role must be balanced with progress in spiritual life, so that both roles are complementary and conducive to each other.
While participating fully in life and fulfilling one’s obligations and responsibilities in the best manner possible, one aims to cultivate spiritual awareness in daily life and gradually cultivate the positive, luminous and uplifting qualities of sattwa in one’s nature and personality.
This is possible through sadhana (regular spiritual practice), satsang (being with the truth), seva (selfless service), swadhyaya (self-study), sanyam (appropriate behaviour of the senses and mind) and santosha (contentment). The Karma Sannyasa Training provides the opportunity to deepen one’s own inner faith, strength and inspiration, to imbibe positive samskaras, and to take a fresh look at oneself and one’s direction in a conducive environment.
This training is for those who wish to find fulfilment in life, to balance the material life and the spiritual life, so that both roles are complementary and conducive to each other. Those who wish to receive karma sannyasa diksha, and also those who have received diksha and wish to deepen their understanding and sadhana can apply.
